Wedding photography is so much more now than it used to be. There was a time when the photographer would first meet the couple at the wedding and begin to take posed pictures. Maybe throw in a small mix of "candid" shots but film was expensive and you had to be careful you didn't overdo it and go broke.
Now, couples want to have more of an experience with their photographer. It takes a special talent to capture the essence of a wedding so that those little slices of time are remembered and relived whenever the images are viewed.
I can't promote the importance of the Engagement session enough, to the point that we include it with our wedding packages. More than just a few posed pictures for the social column of your local newspaper - it is a great opportunity to capture the personality of the couple without the stresses of the wedding day. It is as easy as picking a great location and maybe using it as a romantic "date" for each other. It is usually the time in a couples life where they are looking and feeling their best.
Creating a location based theme for their engagement session is part of the fun we have interacting with a couple. We can also include the photographs in the finished albums and especially the slide show. It is all part of telling the whole wedding story from start to finish.
Being a professional wedding photographer has certainly introduced me to some great couples and many new friendships. For me, it's more involved than just taking a bunch of pictures at someones wedding. We enjoy photographing weddings and we want everyone involved to remember it as a great experience.
It is essential that we build a friendly relationship with each client and work closely with them until they are at ease and they are comfortable in front of the camera. Ideally, the couple is having so much fun and they are so relaxed that they can drop all awarness that there is even a camera involved.
That kind of attitude goes a long way when it comes to creating a unique and personal wedding album for them.
It's really a blessing and an honor to get to play such an important roll in a couples lives. To be a part of something so exciting and then to be able to wrap it all up afterward with beautiful images in one of our slide shows or an album and then get to see them relive all those moments. What a great feeling.
...And, I get to earn a living doing it! How cool is that?!!

Our wedding packages start at $1800
You can call or e-mail us to get package details. All of the packages include the engagement session and I include one of our really cool "press printed" proof books (see below). Online proofing is the easiest and fastest way for you and your guests to see and order photographs so obviously your proofing website comes standard. Our Moving Image slide show on DVD syncronized with your favorite music is also included with most coverages.

The Zookbook cover is made from real leather and comes in many colors. The pages are designed by us and printed on photographic paper. The edges of the pages are gold, silver or black gilded for a very nice presentation. Each page opens flat to display the panoramic design.

My favorite Kingston album cover is the full photograph as shown above. We can also create a Kingston album using a variety of leatherette colors. It is finely handcrafted using photographic printed pages designed by us. The pages are then hand laquered for lasting protection. Available in square or rectangle sizes.

We searched far and wide to find a unique, classy "coffee table" style wedding album. Our search led us to the GraphiStudio in Italy! Since Coffee Table style books are usually looked at more often and are left out on your coffee table longer, they are built durable and with thinner pages. The covers are printed on silk, metalic paper with crystal clear acrylic (shown) or made from Italian leather. The pages can be printed on photographic papers or, if you prefer a more modern look, they can be press printed on a selection of textured papers. This is truly a fine art book.
